That's a very professional looking strap.
How did you learn about strap making? Did you sign up for a course or something?

long story
1. i saw chiewata posted his strap online... so i asked him to show me how he did it... where to find tools in kl..
2. then i bought him a nice steam fishhead lunch at cheras...
3. so he told me where is the leather shop and show me how to stitch...
4. so i went to buy things and order online with magpies14
5. then i downloaded some step by step online and try my own

so i think it is pretty easy....
as long as your hand is not shaking all the time...

So Chiewata is the teacher here. I wonder where he learnt the trade.
Anyway I really admire your resourcefulness. Wish I could learn to make my own straps one of these days.
How did you get the leather to look so aged?

i got this new strap yesterday and i really love this one! It's about 5 to 6mm thick but it is unbelievable soft!!

it is 26/26 to fit my radiomir...i pay USD103 for the strap, buckle and shipping cost..not sure how he made the leather this soft and i love the leather raw cut, aged leather,...hand stiching too..

Maybe next time i can bring it to share with our master foolun/chiew :)

It fit my 233 too (the leather is too soft and too easy to fit into a 24mm lug size)

Cheers!

if it is at least i got one already tool already LOL!

Btw, do you mind to list down what tools we need to at least star the first strap?

So we are starting on lesson 1 already.
Sorry for the ignorance but what kind of glu qualifies as leather glu? Is it hard to find?
