Since it was first introduced in Baselworld 2017, i fell straight in love with this piece.. and after a year, i finally got my hands on this.. unique Rolex that many say doesn't look like a Rolex..
May i present, Rolex Cellini Moonphase!

(Stock Picture)
Lets start off with the package.. it comes with the standard green Rolex box, but, its different from the other Cellini models, where the others come in a flatter and longer box, but this is the standard one like most of other Rolex series..

The case comes with Rolesor, a patented Rolex 18kt rosegold, polished on all ends, has the double bezel (i.e. smooth and fluted) and of course, the crowned crown. It measures 39mm in diameter, and doesn't wears thick, though, i didn't measure the height.. its probably like the 3135 movement Datejust II.. like most modern Rolexes, it has a solid caseback..

Again, Rolex's crown is like a dip in the box, you'll never know if you can ever get the upright or any position you prefer.. in my case, its a 180°..
The dial comes well decorated, with lacquered white and 18kt indexes and hands, a blue cresent hand for date that is along the dial and an enamel blue subdial.. the subdial, which is the main attraction of this watch, is the moonphase dial, where there is a pointer hand at 12 o'clock with a silver ring for New Moon and a real piece of meteorite for the Fullmoon.. being an enamel decorated dial with a real meteorite, each Cellini Moonphase is slightly different from each other, making it unique in a sense.. the moonphase can be adjusted by pressing the... "adjuster" at 8 o'clock.. and guess what, the pusher is made of gold itself..

Powered inside this masterpiece is the manufacture 3195 movement, with approximate 48h power reserve.. Rolex on top of that, guarantees the variance of +/- 2.0s / day for 5 years..
The watch comes equiped with a 20mm width brown aligator leather strap and my favourite, a 16mm clasps, called Crown clasps..

Many other blogs have written on this piece, saying this is a comeback of the moonphase after almost 70 years.. well, overall, i can just say, its a real beauty and a real feel wearing it.. and i meant that figuratively, as the watch is kind of heavy, perhaps due to the pure solid gold case and back..

Thank you for reading..
