« on: October 15, 2017, 10:33:36 AM »
This year end of August, went to Austria and Czech, this was planned last year, but we are very lucky to have our 2nd baby. so, trip postponed to this year.

Reach Vienna around late afternoon, so just roaming around and look for dinner.

Wake up early next day, plan to visit Schönbrunn Palace

Was thinking get there early to avoid the crowd. Seem like everyone thought the same?

Carriage should be one of the popular activity in tourist spot.

Visited the Schönbrunn Palace garden while wait for time for the Palace tour.

Sculpture, common in European countries.

Schönbrunn Palace Gloriette

View of Schönbrunn Palace from Schönbrunn Palace Gloriette

After Schönbrunn Palace, next to visit Museum of Military History?

After Museum of Military History, returned to hotel area looking for food.

Café Central, long Q everyday start from afternoon.

after dinner, walk around and found this little Irish bar.

Breakfast at Café Central

Next stop after breakfast, Spanish Riding School.

Next, proceed to Musuem of Natural History & Kungsthistorisches Museum

Musuem of Natural History, worth to visit as displayed many interesting items.

Kungsthistorisches Museum is an art museum.

Next day is shopping day.  ;D

Visited St. Stephen's Cathedral, engineering, architecture design and sculpture display always stunning in the cathedral in Europe.

After Vienna, next to visit Hallstatt, made a short stop at Melk.

Arrived Hallstatt in the late afternoon, just walk around to look for food and prepare for next day itinerary.

Early in the morning, visit the post card photo spot.

Seem like the resident here frustrated with tourist.

Next, visit the salt mines, after bought the ticket, proceed to the cable train.

There's restaurant on top of the mountain, you can view the entire Hallstatt from here.

Everyone need to change to these colorful uniform before enter the salt mines.

Tour-guide explaining the history of the mines.

World oldest stairs.

Proceed to the restaurant after the salt mines tour.

Before leaving Hallstatt, went to post code spot to take some photos.

Prague is next, stopped at Cesky Krumlov for lunch.

Arrived Prague in the late afternoon, get rest early and prepare for next day visit.

First impression of Prague, dirty and smelly.

After visited Old Town district, next to proceed to Castle district.

Visited Castle of Prague.

The next day, visited Museum Kampa.

There's Manolo Blahnik show in the museum.

After the museum, went for coffee at nearby café

Continue roaming around after coffee.

Initially, plan to visit Vrtba Garden, but lost while looking for the entrance, found this church which is with the famous Infant Jesus of Prague.

Can't locate Vrtba Garden earlier, because it's just like a normal drive way.

A very nice garden in the city.

Charles Bridge, always full of tourists.

5 nights in Prague, only visited Old Town District and Castle District.

Last day in Prague, went to Café Louvre for breakfast.

This old telephone system can be found in Café Louvre.

Although first impression not that good, but Prague is a really beautiful city and full of surprise.

If you travel with kid and stroller, Prague might not a good idea. Mostly stone paved road in both old town and castle district.
Austria more stroller friendly. My first impression for Vienna is like Japan in the Europe, clean street, clean public toilet.  ;D

Yes.

But except for red wine. Austria red wine is totally No No.

The fresh water fish fillet is so chewy and is more rubber than rubber.

Really can’t imagine how fish texture is chewy
Not fermented fish?

Believe the fish was old. That's why the meat texture was no more tender and very chewy.

But the traditional small minced pork ball soup is very nice.
