Azimuth "Extreme Break Thru" Event - Pictorial Report
« on: December 14, 2010, 09:34:17 PM »
Hi guys,
Here's a brief report on the Azimuth "Extreme Break Thru" Event held last Friday (December 10th) at the MARC Residence. It was organised by WW2 who were also appointed the official service centre for Azimuth watches.

The event went pretty smooth. The food was excellent, the WW2 staff were friendly and professional and the Azimuth watches were simply "avant-garde".
The highlight of the evening was an auction of an exclusive timepiece made available specially for the event, a Dragon dial watch. You can follow the auction with the video clip attached below.

Extreme-1 Sea-Hum GMT (1500m Diver)

Extreme-1 Deep Diver (2000m Diver)

SP-1 Twin Barrel Tourbillion

SP-1 Roulette

Militare-1 48mm B-Uhr Standard

Round-1 Back in Time

MC and the sound system crew

Special Edition Dragon watch for Auction

Auction in process

Video clip of the auction - Watch to find out the winning bid.

Big space but not much ppl attend?

Looks to be good lighting and i think thats the way it should be. If not how we gonna see the watches closely hehe.

Nice pics as always Danny!

Most of Azimuth watches to me is kinda "copycat" sorry to say that.
But some are really standouts.

SP-1 Roulette and also the Roboto is really cool!

Hi Peter,
I was there early and the pics above were snapped at the beginning of the event. A little while after that more guests started streaming in. I guess most people were caught up in KL's infamous traffic chaos. If you watch the video clip you can see that the room was pretty crowded by the time the auction was held.

I agree with you that the Roulette and Mr. Roboto are two of Azimuth's very original designs.

You can try your luck at the WW2 boutique at MARC Residence.

Danny, couldn't help but notice that all the attendees were barefooted. Care to explain? ???

Ha ha. You're very observant. The event was held in a penthouse unit and guests were required to take off their shoes before entering the place.

Well mate, after constantly training one's eyes on minute details on dials, etc., the last thing you won't notice is kaki ayam in public places  But I'm no foot fetish! ;)
