Thank you guys
It is no doubt very sinnful indeed  :Praying:  ;D

Tegimented steel - the hardest as well as the most corrosion-resistant metal case watches on the planet ...

Heavy duty rubber strap - Sinn should consider giving 2 straps instead of 1, just like B&R and panerai ...

Folding buckle - not tegimanted, no ?

Diver's extension clasp ...

pardon my photo quality ...
thanks for looking ...

i think this series also same... tegsiment on bezel only... not on buckle and case... but it is good enough....
and tegsiment is only harden the surface... not the toughest...
but it is very good for watches.... scratch free ... unless u scratch it with your diamond...
but harden on surface mean it may still crack like egg...
there r sinn cases cracked reported before... but not this sub marine steel case... its those tegsimented st steel 316l case...

best technology for harden steel case... is ice hardened by damasko... but sad is damasko only produce very limited watches... and design not really good.... its small... i only like the dc 66... but i never see 1 available online!

It will be perfect if the buckle is tegimanted as well  :(

for u2s, u2r n u black, the buckle is tegsimented...
not sure bout u 1000....

but done worry... submarine steel is strong.... i'm looking at scratches on my sinn u1 buckle... on my wrist....
after yrs of rough usage... scratches is visible but it is not as deep as u normally seen on those normal 316l steel....

Thanx Yen for your generous review

It is indeed a very attractive timepiece.  It was the black dial with white painted markers, fitted with red/white hour + minute + second hands that caught my attention ...

Thanx to CK of sharing his previous "I'm 1000m Sinnful" threads

since then I was poisoned & modivated to commit a Sinn  :Laughing_on_floor:

Despite the size = 44mm wide + 14mm thick and weight = 175grams, it is surprisingly comfortable on the wrist, like what SC had mentioned previously

Besides its attractive dial, I was also driven by its submarine steel case & PVD + tegimanted rotating bezel

However, having that being said, I realized there are some improvements that can be made to perfection such as 1. the relatively small DATE window located at 3 o'clock;  2. the easily  collect-dust RUBBER STRAP; 3. not-tegimented BUCKLE; last but not least, 4. an inclusive of additional STRAP will be sweet since the strap-changing tool is provided

I'm very pleased and delighted of discovering this beuti

Thanx to MFW

By rating it 9 out of the scale of 10, it is highly recommended to those who are looking for a robust yet good looking sub with affordable price

Thanks for reading

Very nice watch..
the case and the bezel won't easily get scratched, very good for daily use.. ;) ;)
But same here,i don't like the rubber as it really easily collect dust..

enjoy!

very nice piece... my first approach with sinn was a military 656... nicely lumed 369... (now she is with my good friend, who've levelled up far far beyond me as a watch collectors.. hehe...)

i would say sinn has the best anti-reflection coating among other brands... :) but didn't know sinn coming up with lego hands and dial... very unique combination of the design elements used here for a diver watch.

look sturdy and solid... and with a sense of designer feel on it :)

As a proud owner of the Sinn U1 I whole heartedly agree with your statement there. Whenever I wear the U1, I usually get comments like "Where's the glass on that watch?" The AR coating on the U1 is simply superb, but the downside is that any fingerprint on the glass stands out like a sore thumb.

sinn ar coating is superb... but after yrs of wearing.... i can see the outer coating is fading.... at certain angle it is like blue wave... so it look good in dim.... now if i got the choice, i prefer to have just the coating inside....

danny, show u my damasko next time... the ar coating also as good as sinn.... or eben better

It's possible that both Damasko and Sinn use the same contractor for the AR coating. Anyway looking forward to seeing your Damasko at the next GTG.

I tried this model on last week and found that the clasp is also very heavy compared to other brands, maybe almost the same weight as the watch itself?

When wearing did it cause any weight balance issues?

And is the rubber strap a dust attracting magnet?  ;D

Hi Dennlow,
Wow, that's a cool looking U1 that we don't get to see very often. With only 250 pcs available worldwide, that's a real good catch.
