I registered myself as a MWF Members on year 2016 !

2016 is a great year for me ! Cause I found my Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Skyfall limited edition & a Moonwatch as well, I also bought 4 Rolex ( Explorer II, Submariner, Daytona & Submariner 2 tone ).

Hope I can get more on this year 2017

In 2016, I finally understood the term "value", and seeing how over-inflated the Swiss watches are, I now seek for value instead of marketing gimmicks. Not bothered anymore if in-house or not, it's pure marketing with most "manufacturers" having no proven track record and the price is usually high.

Having said that, I've also learned to pick low price, high value watches or if the price is RM10k and above, however boring it is, go for the iconic watches with long history or a Rolex SS model.

Added in 2016:
Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch (icon)
Rolex Oyster Perpetual 34mm Green Olive (for significant other)
Montblanc Heritage Chronometrie Ultra Slim (great dress watch, value for money compared to JLC)
Oris Bronze Carl Brashear Limited Edition (love the Diver Sixty Five range, even more in bronze case)
Apple Watch 1 Stainless Steel (got it from clearance sale)

Gone in 2016:
Apple Watch 1 Stainless Steel (no emotional feelings towards it)
Sinn U1 (lost the love)
Rolex Explorer II (competing with BLNR so this had to go)
PAM000 (2nd PAM gone after 312, declining value so cut losses)

Found MWF and registered as a member. Lots of things learned about watches. Most significant effect was presence of a hole in my wallet  ;D

Came upon a few realizations;

1. I cannot stop collecting watches.

2. I should collect only iconic watches if not I stand a high chance of losing a lot of money when i flip.

3. I like my collection size at 12 pieces.

1. Bought myself a very first GMT - Orient CFE04001B.
2. First time buying from MWF's member - a vintage Andre Rivalle and was happy with the purchased.
3. First time sending my Seiko to one of MWF's member for refurbishing + mod, and was satisfied with the result.
4. Bought myself a very first 24 hours display watch - Vostok Komandirskie Classic.
5. First time buying straps from Weston Watch Strap and Watch-Band-Center.
6. Finally found the square watch i had been looking for - pre-owned Certina Podium Square Chrono in WUS, and bought it for my wife as Christmas present.
7. I'm broke  ;D
