Seiko Padi SRPA21
« on: November 08, 2016, 11:52:56 AM »
Hi everyone,

Just wanted to share with you guys my new watch. My dad bought a Seiko Padi for me out of the blue. My old man is into Seikos for some reason where he has more than 5 Seikos. I told him to get the SRPA21 (Seiko Padi) because I've heard good stories about it. Being generous, he bought two Seiko Padis and gave me one. I've changed the strap because I thought the bracelet, combined with the casing was just too heavy for me. Plus I like Nato straps with tool watches.

I dug out my old Nikon D30 with kit lens to take pics of the watch. The lightbox was purchased a few days ago at a camera shop. I would say that the camera performed pretty well considering it's a 10 year old camera.

Anyone else out there has this watch? Care to share your enjoyment?

Nice guys. I must admit, this watch is a good bang for the buck. Rather hard to beat. I wish it were a tad smaller and less thicker, but all in all at the price point, very satisfied with this watch.

Nice one. Wearing my 009 on NATO at the moment. My go to travel watch. Think a waiter in a nice restaurant thought it was a Pepsi Rolex yesterday as he was gushing over it...

Gotta love the Seiko Turtles! I use it quite often. Not afraid to bang it up. Although, I haven't even registered one scratch on it yet.  ;D

How do you guys wear that in a business setting? A bit hard to imagine having a chunky watch to go along with a long sleeve shirt :Jumping:

Actually same case n movement as the padi Pepsi

But with different color dial, hands & bezel
The highlight of yellow markers on 3,6,9,12 n second hand looks real good
The sunburst green dial is like padi blue dial
Depend on what u like

The rubber strap is newer series
Softer
Feel As good as the prospex diver
