« on: March 04, 2016, 05:47:16 AM »
There were a couple of threads in MWF on this subject but was years ago. I believe there are quite a number of members that are into ABC watches. So let's get the sharing on!

Well, if Meor (hereinafter referred to as the Guru) wants to have a discussion on ABC watches, the Guru gets ABC watches rolling in from us mere mortal

Here's my fave ABC watch- it's military green so it's not loud when I wear it in my plantations, and it has a black-out solar-cell dial (could last up to 6 months with a single full charge) which made it all the more suitable for outdoor activities.

My boy preferred the Riseman Black; and with a quick RM5 compass fix, the Riseman ups the ante to the Rangeman's ABC territory :

But who am I kidding...  :Dancing_banana:

Nice ones @andywristwatches. Love the one that you did for your boy

I actually got only two ABC watches: the Protrek and the T-Touch.

Some basic commonality: solar powered, titanium

Differences:
Casio - radio control, world timer
Tissot - Regatta timer, ana-digital,

I've seen that solar-powered titanium piece in a boutique at HK recently. Big but light

Dalil watches (mechanical) has a compass on the middle of the dial - no longer in production. Not sure if there are any mechanical altimeter and/or barometer.
