Another Eagle (U1) has landed..
« on: July 27, 2010, 07:41:39 AM »
finally, my first German..hehehehehe

not qualify to write technical review...but let me share the `joy' of a WIS novice when receiving this yesterday

hehehe...its here...

cant wait...cant wait....(wait...wash hands first...)

wah....stylish box......but who cares...its the inside...come to papa!!!

first glimpse.its true..pics DONT DO JUSTICE...the real thing is the real deal!

my baby and his/her birth certificate

dedicated to the page that injected the lethal poison...ACTHUNG...dont visit sites like `Pics here...or What is on your wrist today .......' in watch forums...dangerous

finally sized it...my puny arms meant i had to cut off loads of rubber and left the final hole...(kids, please listen to your momma and drink more calcium!!!)..and yes..my baby still protected by plastic surface...hehehee

these photos not qualify yet to poison people...but will practice...spread the poison mah... :Dancing_banana:
overall? am glad i went for this instead of Oris or Ball (no offense to these 2 brands..just my personal take).  superb dial, no frills, simple to read.  love the red and white combo (me Liverpool fan..hehehe)
compare to my old tissot..of course feel heavy but will get use to it..hehehehe

thanks for viewing!

Congrats on the new watch!
So you had it shipped from overseas?

Word of advice, better black out your serial number, just in case someone use it to make fake watch.

You bought directly from Sinn?

How does the warranty work then?
If there is any problem then would you be able to send to the AD or service center here?

nice watch bro.

Just curious what make you buy the watch from overseas instead of locally? Price factor?

Is it ok to pm me the price you paid?

hi everyone..thank for all kind words...

bought from [link removed by moderator pls use pm for commercial link]  if not mistaken, this is not Sinn but an appointed seller ?  While discussing with them, they never ask me about buying from THG or local/regional AD...

as for warranty, i asked them before...the reply was.
`Sinn will cover the courier charge to return the watch to you after service'

I assume Sinn will cover the transportation as long as its within warranty...

yes, price factor....

to me...it was matter of saving couple of hundred RM VS buying from local AD (peace of mind, build guanxi with shop, when problem just pass back to them, etc)....
some will prefer the later....but i prefer the first option....

perhaps the fact that i am based north and there's no Sinn dealer here in Penang (i think so) also pushed me to buy online...
