TNT Challenger 1
« on: August 19, 2014, 05:34:41 PM »
After almost 1 month of anxious waiting (I was notified that the watch was posted on 14/07/2014) and after tracking the package on the German Post and Pos Malaysia website daily, this was finally delivered today by Pos Malaysia...a sigh of relief...I'm sure lots of fellow forum members have gone through such similar anxious moments.

These are the specs listed on the website :-

Case Material : Stainless steel
Diameter : 43 mm without crown
Bottom : steel screwed
Movement: 3 hands, Automatic ETA Calibre 2842
Decoration : standard
Movement Typ : Automatic
Functions: Hour, Minute, Centralsecond
Serial Number : 01-99
Dial : black
Hands : white with soft brown luminova
Glass : Pyrex (8 Mohs hardness but no fingerprints)
High: 13,5 mm

The watch was came with a black zulu strap but I swapped it for nato straps. Using the zulu strap is scary because the strap is prone to slipping off due to the wide gap between the fixed lugs and the backcase.

I thought there was no lume when I got the watch. The lume is very weak and I was not able to capture an image.

Enjoy the pics...cell phone camera pics only. My apologies.

wow, applaud you for going thru with the pre-order.
i too had my name on it, i recall torsten also saying intially that the bezel would also be lumed.
after the prototype was shown, he constantly avoided my questions on a lume shot.
so i just cancelled my pre-order.
guess i now know why he avoided my questions.
thanks for the info :D

That sucks...I'm sorry to hear that. Hope they find your watch. I was just about to ask if any fellow forum members had purchased the WUS rattrapante.

As for my watch, the finishing seems ok. A few specks of dust can be seen under the back display case. Still getting use to the unique lugs. The crown is rather awkward to operate. Maybe that's because I've got thick fingers. Overall no complains for the price I paid.
