Zenith pre-Basel preview during the SIHH Week
« on: January 27, 2014, 12:01:25 AM »
I had a quick meet up with Zenith staff from Singapore to see what surprises they had installed for us :) Not too many, as they are keeping the big stuff for Basel - I was able to preview a few of them but they are under media embargo...

new Stratos - no more Striking 10th, and with an aluminium bezel.

Wright brothers Aeronef GMT...

old favorite of mine that I have been looking for, and one of the Zenith staff was actually wearing it !

Wow... Thanks for the update Shing.
Loving the Stratos tri-colour without the Striking 10th.
Display back?

I disagree.
The pilot is one of the most unique design that have come out from any brand in recent years.... no?
Strap seems lousy? Which part? If you're referring to the black lining, it's actually rubber.
I do agree on the buckle though... After recreating the unique type-20 look, the least the could have done is design a unique buckle.

the watch design ... yeah, agreed half! bcoz still very big pilot style!

but how about the black case vintage lume light tan strap? not BR style?
not just zenith... even big pilot boutique edition we saw black case with red/gree/orange/etc sindex and hands... then  a vintage lume one after that

hopefully zenith wont hv red/yellow/orange/blue/green on black case boutique edition coming yrs....

YEAP - the stitching on strap... is it photo? uneven, back worst, seems came off....
