do you get your kids an analog or digital watch for their 1st time-keeping lesson ?
(irregardless of price)

not for fashion, but when you feel that they are ready to tell time / learn about time.

Analog.. Because my daughter, in her kindergarten learn how to tell time using the big rounded paper with a smiling clock face with movable 2 hands (hour and minute hand). So, I get her the analog watch for continous learning at home. It is also have to be quartz, to teach her appreciate time with ticking of the second hand.

Analog quartz (Flik Flak) for the little ones and Seiko automatic for the teen. Those Flik Flak are quite hardy indeed! Now my kids will point out watch shops when we pass them. WIS in the making..

I started mine with Baby G when she's six.
Slowly got her interested in watches.
Her first mechanical is a Swatch Skeleton.
Now in her 3rd year in Med School,she told me her first watch that she's gonna get is Frank Muller Crazy Hours.

i remember i having hard time to read analog watch when i was 4 years old back to 80's, hence got my 1st legendary Casio digital watch from my parent
