After lurking around for while now, it's finally good to be able to say hi to everyone. So, Hi Everyone!

Firstly, great site, loads of information (poisons aside) and nice people. I'm new to the world of horology, joined the wagon a couple of years ago. An expensive interest or passion, obsession - hey, each to his own but nevertheless for me, it's been something that I've always had a penchant for but not the equivalent funds at my disposal.

Anyway, hope to be able to learn and also contribute as I go along.

P/S: Any reason why this group is not a closed one? i.e I can view almost anything without logging in, just curious from a security standpoint.
