Yea the thing is you never know what you will grow to like over time, so I prefer to stay on the look out for good value buys so that I can narrow down my research to them, because for me, I don't immediately fall in love with a particular watch on first impressions alone.

So how I find watches to purchase goes like this :
1. Find good value to buy
2. Research about them to see if I like it or not
3. If I do like it, wait for a used example to be listed to buy

I generally prefer watches that are under the radar and usually they are not the hottest models.

Thanks for suggestion, was looking at the URL link of the photos of other members, and looks like most of them using tapastalk app. Downloaded and works for me as well, can finally start posting better pics.

Not a good idea to buy a watch purely because it is good value, it's wiser to buy watches that you really like the design of and would wear on a long term basis. Chances are you will most likely fall out of love with these watches and then force to resell them at a lower price than you bought in the first place.

These watches are trading at a discount for a reason, they are not exactly the hottest models. Also be careful as there is a chance its fake.

Or am I misreading your questions, i.e. you are asking what type of watches to look out for that can be resold at a higher price?

Reviews of Watch Accessories / Custom made green dollaro leather strap
« Last post by shanky0 on June 06, 2023, 09:14:24 PM »
Bought a custom made strap recently from a seller in carousel and wanted to share it with you all.

Frankly, I'm no leather strap expert but wanted to give my Seiko sarx055 a new look. The titanium bracelet that comes with the watch is pretty good for Seiko standard but I feel like putting it on a leather strap would make it even more classier.

More about the seller, his name is Jason. He offers quite a lot of premium leathers,  he has dollaro, epsom, vachetta, pueblo, buttero and etc at a reasonable price. For my piece, I paid RM210 for it.

Jason was pleasant and patient in attending to my queries through the whole customisation process. This was my first time buying a custom strap so I asked 1001 questions as I'm not familiar with the different leather types. He even showed me samples of the leather he offers upon my request when I collected.

Without further ado, pictures of the strap. P.S. unfortunately my wrist size is small, can't do the watch justice sadly .
