Revue Thommen automatic 32.5.mm SS 1995

Sir h.chang, thanks again for sharing the ultimate vintage collection.
mind to share more about this grail? how you obtain this? and etc...

Bought this new in 1996 at a watch exhibition at Regent Hotel KL, now Grand Melinnium, from the agent who has an outlet at Lot 10.
Revue Thommen "cricket" watches were said to have been worn by US presidents. The watch is retro 1950s styled, comes with either a SS bracelet or leather.

Aren't the cricket watches made by Vulcain?
-
I am not so sure if the US presidents (Eisenhower + Nixon) were wearing a cricket watch made by RT or by Vulcain. Probably the latter. But yes, RT did (or does??) make a cricket watch, largely using the AS movement also found in Oris and Maurice Lacroix wrist mechanical alarm. RT was selling them in the early 1990's (maybe earlier). You could get one from Hour Glass Singapore for about S$ 1,200 at that time. I remember because I bought one in 1992 when I was in Singapore at that time.

My Revue Thommen ;D
Love the Cricket alarm. The mechanical winding gives a feel of commitment and personal relationship to TIME.
An organic feel to TIME ....
