- During registration, they can't find my name and ask me how I register, I told her I am from MWF, what MWF??, I almost want to tell her from "Malaysia Wrestling Federation", then I search the table lists, finally found my name in the Media List...fortunately under "Malaysia Watch Forum" :Laughing_on_floor:
- Too crowded, Overwhelming response, not sure the purpose of the events :thumbsdown:
- On top of that, surrounded by people selling chocolate, perfume and etc., feel like Pasar malam (but in Pavillion) :thumbsdown:

1st time see so many ppl with nice watches in one place...haha...also felt like VIP cos magazine journalists kept asking permission to take pics :laugh:
true, very the crowded, some also did not follow the dress code >:(
i think i approached the same receptionist as siaodee :Laughing_on_floor:
overall, an eye opener...never attended such events before, but also a lil disappointed cos it looked like warehouse sale than a private event :Laughing_on_floor:

i finished work at 730pm yesterday, tried my best DRIFT to pavilion lol 1st thing i did was to get a drink from the drink counter lol :thirsty:
look around and thinking if any of you there hahaha but ofcause didnt get any clue lol :angel:
then took a pic to join the funny WITH LOVE picture mini contest, i think mine is the best one lah among all but didnt get the prize so bad!!! :Scolding:

You guys have to excuse me (& wife) last night as we did not join you ppl for ramen.
My wife opt to leave early as she had a tiring day after attending to 30 over students that afternoon.(salon academy).

the Basel 2011 catalogue was there but i didn't take it...browsed through my current fav, the Rolesor YM2 :Praying:

The YM2's dial was really busy for me, still have yet to warm up to it.
Too bad no new Basel models to view that night.

i got the catalog from the salesman in the shop, who showing me all the latest model of rolex watches,
and i think i tried one of the model from the catalog!! rose gold, smallest size of ladies watch. :Praying: very nice!! :faint:
but the salesman did mention some of the watches not yet out, not until august/september

I had the same feeling too coz we don't experience this at our IWC events as it's more relax and normally will be at a lounge restaurant. Thanks for the feedback ,I'll forward it to the marketing and events team. Cheers !

Thanks all for attending the Rolex event and I know some of you felt it was a bit Pasar Malam, I do agree. If we going have an IWC event definitely you guys will be invited and I know you won't be disappointed. ;)

Master Sifu - a person who can identify the watch, provide the model, number, movement made (from cycle to cycle), history of the brand, model from earlier til now, why the changes and etc.,
Sifu - a person who can identify the watch, provide model, number, movement made (some understanding of the movement, not all), history of the brand from earlier til now
Senior (progression to Sifu) - a person who can identify the watch, provide model, number, movement made (some understanding of the movement)
Junior (progression to Senior) - a person who can identify the watch, know the model, number, and some knowledge of movement
Newbie - a person who are still learning of all the above :Laughing_on_floor:
