For our climate here, rubber straps have always been my preferred choice. Which watch manufacturers produce the best rubber straps? (Not considering Rubber B, Everest etc)
Personally, having tried on rubber straps of APs, Rolexes, omegas, etc (unfortunately yet to try Patek's).........I've found that the rubber strap on the Cartier de Santos ADLC to be 1 of the most comfy...if not the most
Thoughts?

trying on and long term wear is very different...
the AP rubber is quite lasting, is not stiff at all and has no odor either

I kinda dig Omega AT straps, not just because its rubber material is supple and easy to wear. I also believe their single clasp is easily the best in the business. Very nice combination. If it weren't so pricey I'd order one just to pair it with my other 20mm lug width watches

True .. definitely agree that AP's are 1 of the best..
Mayb because I didnt expect the Cartier's to be so good...so was definitely a nice surprise..
Can't wait to try on the newly launched IWC-Petronas chrono..

I did enjoy the rubber strap on the Planet Ocean and the AP as mentioned by bro dpkong at the above.

Out of curiosity, u guys dig the vanilla smell on these caoutchouc rubber straps or is that a deal breaker?

Don't do it in public bro ;D
But really tho, the scent on some of these is quite strong its almost like it has a sillage. Don't even need to bring it up to ur nose to catch a scent.

To chip in as a "rubber strap" guy, I will always prefer FKM (fluoroelastomer-high-density-rubber) rubber strap. This kind of rubber is structurally higher in heat and chemical resistant. When worn on wrist, it will feel more flexible, pliant and softer compared to the normal rubber strap.
Few known brands that uses FKM rubber (not sure if all models are using these) - Zenith, Hublot, Sinn..

rubber wise, it has to be between Cartier or AP for me

Rubber wise, I’ll go for AP
