Going at the end of this month.
Any recommendations for non "usual" spots to visit?
By that i mean:
- No temples or theme parks, not a fan of those.
- Dont say Tsukiji cause i have planned that already.
- I have the food part covered.
- Gonna spend half day at Ginza watch boutiques with a forum friend who is gonna bring me around.
Any interesting museums to cover?
Would be interested in photography museum.
Already have a private tour planned for the Seiko Museum, gonna have a post on that when i am back.
Hmmmm....maid cafe, just to see whats up.
So guys and gals, what do you have in mind?
-
knowing your interest in clothes...
Beams and Rugged Museum in Shibuya is always a stop for me
-
Thanks Terrence, gonna spend a day in Shibuya as well.
Beams is on my radar.
Hows about places to check out local handmade leather goods?
-
Tokyu Hands and the rest o the upscale japanese departmental stores in ginza does have their leather ware section in te men's department. I have seen them stocking Roberu and other small boutique Japanese leather goods
-
Beams is good ! and tokyo hands never fail me too !
-
Check out Harajuku on a late Sunday morning to watch how the Japanese let loose their inner anime characters! Amazing photo ops because these cosplay characters love it when u ask them to pose for u! :D
-
I wonder, any "seasonal" must see or things to do during late Aug early Sept?
