seems like many famous brand are using eta movement such as cartier bla bla bla..many discussion was surrounded by eta vs inhouse movement..can any ppl tell me that which eta movement is the best and is it compatilbe with rolex or other movement..thanks

best eta? how to compare... different movement different function and size basically...
all commonly use eta is good to me.... why? because its durable, its easier and cheaper to maintain, its easy to regulate and its cheap

compatible with rolex? even different eta movement also wont compatible with the other eta movement in terms of parts....
if u study their origin, it was developed from different manufacturer n later acquired by eta....
eta 7750 if valjoux 7750
eta 6497 is unitas 6497
eta 7001 is pesaus 7001
eta 2824 is a developed from eterna movement
now the valgrance is developed 7750

it is not easy to compare it to other movement as well... because eta sell different grade of movement...
some better finish some better material some even decorated....

do u mean comparable rather than compatible?

ETA auto chronographs are Val 7750 and ETA 2894 whereas non-chronograph auto mvmt r ETA 2824 and 2892 and finally the manual mvmt is the 6497 and its variations. As u can see even though these mvmts r from ETA, they are different from each other.

Rolex has only 1 chronograph calibre i.e. 4130
