Longines for sure given the 2 choices.

But I would think it's going to be a lot more expensive.

Baume but I would prefer a black dial.

My vote to Baume and i do agree with Tyler. Baume price tag is slightly higher right?

I think previously the company is lack of serious market recognition. It catches my attention until recently they launched the retro inspired model - Capeland. I like the RG Capeland 10007 but it's really a little overpriced.

if you want a lovely time, you should have a lovely watch...because time is precious

What's your budget?
I would go with Longines, but the master retrograde model.

Generally Longines has better value ratio although both are mid level branded watches
Longines is more conservative/traditional as compared to B&M.
However between these 2 models, I wouldnt choose the Longines as its way too cluttered and busy.
In this particular comparo, I think the B&M has more class.
Anyway both run on Swiss ebauches… the movt quality is about the same...

Personal taste and preferences evolve over years, hopefully not 1 full circle otherwise it means we haven't learnt a single thing.

Given these 2, my choice would be Baume & Mercier, because this Capeland model is 42mm and I like white dial with the touch of red.

This Longines Master Collection is 40mm and there's a lot of function being put in such a small dial. Too busy for me.

Please share the pics of your choice once you decide which one to pick.

I would go with Longines, but the master retrograde model.

my budget is less than 10k, both models are less than 10k. master retrograde model is nice too but i prefer this master collection because it fits my hand perfectly. i have a nice lady hand though ;p

My suggestion is go for B&M, 42mm, now a day bigger watch nicer hehe (personal thought), and.. after you own it and wear it, you will feel the watch become smaller and it will fit you nicely, and.. ofcoz, i like B&M brand :)

In the watches world, I think that Baume is better than Longines.
