Seiko Prospex
« on: December 08, 2009, 09:08:03 PM »
Hi guys & girls. I'm a Seiko fan specially Prospex model. It's a JDM lineup. It is almost impossible to get 1 outside Japan.
But sometime some shop do import and sell it outside Japan, like Takasima Big Time in Singapore.
The problem is i do not know which shop that carry these JDM Seikos here in Malaysia.
So i'm hoping someone here know any shop that sell this prospex lineup.
Thanks in advance.

He got that mms from another friend. He said that the 600m Marinemaster pict was taken from a watchshop in SS2 PJ (near police station).  ???

Ya la... may be the shop unofficially import this line... thats why when my friend told me the price it sound ridiculous  :Scolding:
Seiko GS and Ananta are great too... but more to dress watch... but like to have one of that too someday
I've dealt with seiya and chino before.. they are very professional... i bought sumo from seiya and Marinemaster from chino...
The problem when buying through internet is you cant try or feel the watch 1st before decide to purchase it

here's the mms pict... what a watch

For 14k you could get GS entry only. SD is very different. Seeing it gliding (not ticking) round the dial is amazing

Dont know much about Grand Seiko. need to do more research on this line.. but im sure need more than RM20K to own 1... broke la now

Ya la that gliding thing look eerie sometimes...

I own a vintage seiko diver that still running fine after about 28 years (since 1981)...
its just an ordinary divers not from professional line... so i guess Prospex line doesnt really need regular services
but if it need 1 i just send back to Japan... it may take a couple of month...
omega also took about 3 month for service & repair

CK77... how much Sub ND now eh??

You can bring back to Thong Sia for service. They will send to Japan if they can't handle. That what Thong Sia SG said. I suppose Thong Sia MY does the same practice. Or you can send back to Seiko Japan if I not wrong. You of course bear the air freight both ways.
