Chrisc - I have been in the Motor Trades for the past 20+ years, attached to the service line as operations head. Took a vss and now at one of the Insurance co. as automotive analyst.

Fine mechanical cars and watches goes together hand in glove.

wow! david...then i really must meet up with you one of these days...

well! at the moment for me....just start with this interest....forums like this are really poisonous...especially those from singapore! when you dont convert...you look at the prices...wow! how i wish i was earning singapore dollars...hahah!

My pleasure. A few of us member used to go 'yam-char' on a weekend (Sat). We shall meet for small GTG when opportunities arise.

fellow Volvo users eh? i am not an auto freak but was offered a reasonable 1997 V70 5 years ago....so i bought it...and till today still serving my family well...of course with the occasional hefty bills from mechanic...
