haha...
that;s a quite a movement repair. very interesting

The photo may be meant as a joke but I believe Scott had a similar experience with such a "repaired" movement held by tapes etc when he bought a used Omega overseas.
Scott, you should relate your experience here.

tape? oh god.... pls share scott
-
LOL! Yeah, thanks for reminded me ;D
The problem is, i was too angry to take any picture and i was lucky enough to sell it back through the same "channel" where i bought it from ;)
-
do u hv photo showing the 'tape' part still?
-
Nope...I didn't thought of taking any picture at that time.... it was checked by one of the HongKong's watc-maker in UK....when they told/show me the "master-piece", it basically has the tape done on the auto movement roto, the movement is original anywhere....i was at shamed and angry and forgot to take a picture on it... then again, i didn't know i can actually file a complain on theBay to have it refund (not a lot money, but still...)..then i put it back on sales and have it sold to someone who wanted some spare part from the movement...at least, didn't lost a lot then...

what a incredible experience... thanks for sharing!
