Swiss based Malaysian fellow here. Been living here for 10 years and about to come home. Figured I'd reach out and find some new watch lover friends.
A pre-owned Omega Speedmaster that I got yesterday at CHF2500, that should be about RM12000. Was wondering if I got it for a steal or I got eaten up (https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200726/e48557dac2954a7d1ef7aba6a688a851.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200726/422e69d699dcabb134fe57f9e29adf2d.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200726/670565de2df2fe4365f090626edeefc1.jpg)

Buying a watch in Switzerland or practically anywhere around Europe is usually more expensive because of VAT. If you can claim back VAT on departure then might be cheaper.
Uncertain about pre-owned prices as that varies a bit. What model is this?

Got it pre owned mah. So no VAT cash transaction. It's a 42mm Speedmaster Professional 145.022-78

To be honest, not too sure if it's originally sold in this condition. Bezel also different.

I know they had tachymètre or télémètre versions. But you're right. I should get it checked just in case
