Title: Pro-Hunter Rolex SD??
Post by: Scott C. on January 14, 2009, 08:13:52 AM
Got the following picture from one of the Japanese magazine (yeah..i snap it while on one is around ;D)

It is a 16600 but some one PVD it and put in the extra red on the dial...anyone see the real watch? I heard it is not cheap and I doubt rolex will provide any more warranty to this watch... Will it consider a counterfeit/fake since they have change the dial??

cheers!
SC

The source for the Pro-Hunter Rolex is from a pre-owned dealer in UK. The website is here: http://www.bjsonline.com/watches/ (http://www.bjsonline.com/watches/).
IMHO you'll be sacrificing your warranty as well as future Rolex service center support if you get these watches because I doubt Rolex will take a kind view of the amount of modification done to the watches. Caveat Emptor.

I wouldn't want to PVD my Rollie that way. Well, maybe, if I get one older & cheaper piece.  ;D

Alvin,
I share the same sentiments as you. It wouldn't be a Rollie after such a heavy mod operation.
