Hi,

Any newbie guide for running? I got myself a proper pair of running some time ago but i did not find time to run. I was thinking of alternating between running and cycling.
No guide.
Put on your shoes and run.

Yeah.

One foot forward at a time. Do it fast and you call it running. Do it slow and it's called walking.

Anyone joining any races?

My upcoming races:-

24/6 KL Marathon (21km)
8/7 Olympic Run 7km
9/9 Adidas KOTR 16km
18/11 Penang Marathon (21km)
2/12 Singapore Marathon (virgin full marathon, hopefully  :Praying:)

For me, probably Olympic Run and KOTR.

Do like what Forest Gump did. Put on the shoe and RUN!!

On another Note, if you need guidance on how, where, etc to run search in the many online Running Guides or join a Running Club like the HHH, Pacesetter, Roadrunner etc. Sometimes they have a National Runner or an experience Runner guiding a couple of beginners on how to run safely. For example, proper warming up, stretching must be done. Then run slowly before picking up the pace. If stamina running is your objective, they may tell you to run slow 2 or 3 minutes, followed by running fast 1 minute, then slow and fast alternatively.
