Buying a pair of watch (Couple)
« on: June 24, 2016, 11:32:07 AM »
Good day to all, I would like to seek advice on purchasing a pair of watch before our marriage. My budget is around 5k each. My fiancee is petite so I would like to buy her a small watch.

I saw one which I like but it's above my budget. Longines L2.755.4.78.6.

I would prefer something simple, with only date, better with day. I thank you all in advance for your input  ;D

For that kind of budget, u can opt for Hamilton, or Tissot..both from the same group and value for money, if u talking about mechanical watches. If quartz, u can have wider range such as Tag

you can try to look at major watch retailers ...eg. Watatime (1U, Pavillion, Sunway Pyramid), Hang Thai (ss2),
AWG Time (Mid Valley), Watchshoppe (Mid Valley, Sunway Pyramid), Swiss Watch Gallery (Pavillion), etc..

nowadays, prices are quite competitive. ...

With 5k budget, you can get her a very nice Citizen genuine diamond lady watch.

If you like the longines so much. Just save a couple of months and get it. WATATIME can get 20-30% off RRP. Goodluck!

If your preference to Swiss watch is your only consideration, Tissot diamond couples watch would be a good choice.

Titoni couples watch should have the range and style that is slim and decent. You may want to check it out.

Pleasantly surprised to see the Titoni recommendation here. This was a fave brand decades ago and was rather sought-after then at my Dad's watch shop. Will be nice if there could be greater demand towards Titoni again these days.

Rolex | Omega | Bell & Ross | Panerai | Seiko | G-Shock |

I m not sure , maybe I mixed up with another brand .. I just checked the website , is owned by 3rd gen of the founder .. This brand is popular in Asian countries especially in the olden days (together with brands such as Rado, Pagol, etc ) not sure if it is well known in western countries

I would suggest Longines for that price range. :) They usually give good discount on their retail price. Easily 20%
