« on: June 08, 2015, 04:20:35 PM »
Guys, I need an opinion..Thanks.

The choice is either flip or not buying...

my 15400st is silver/white...

The ROO 42mm (elephant/grey) that am looking at now...

I would keep the 15400 and add another watch, iwc or zenith or jlc instead

Even I was contemplating this very same thing (same models in fact). Decided against selling the RO as I think its more elegant and timeless.

Now thinking of buying a Vacheron overseas titanium bezel instead. Any thoughts

I would say do not flip the RO but if you can afford it, add the ROO to your collection.
Incidentally I am currently preparing a shootout between an RO and ROO... still need some time.
But like I said... keep the RO...

First of all, thanks all for the feedback..

I had made up my mind..since I hardly wear my 15400st cos of it shinny white and feel its more to a dress watch ,most of the time am with jean/t-shirt casual wear..so flipped it to ROO 42mm elephant/grey which in my opinion it more suits to my style ;)

To minimise the pain caused by the lost due to the flipped...managed get one AP travelling case as gift, at least..able comfort abit  ;D

sharing some of the photos..

Congrats bro! Love the color scheme, am sure you will enjoy this watch. Does it come with a deployant clasp or a buckle?

To be honest, I would have kept the RO as it represents the original Genta design that started the whole stainless steel luxury premium watch thing going back in the 70s. Nevertheless, the ROO is certainly a worthy successor for your collection.
