These 3 watches are all very good watches. The Hydro Conquest is a very nice sport watch, the Aquis would be a very nice everyday wear, and the FC will be a very beautiful dress watch.
The Aquis is using Sellita SW200, The Hydro Conquest is using the L488 Calibre, which is a Column Wheel Movement made by ETA.
I'm not really sure about the FC, should be using an ETA too. All movement used by the 3 watches are all very reliable movements. Nothing will possibly go wrong.
Go ahead to the AD and put them on ur wrist, and see which watch speaks to you, then bring it home.

Have you put them on your wrist yet? If you did, they might report to you in your dreams.. Find the one in your dreams and bring it home :Laughing_on_floor:

Longines and Oris has much much longer and richer history than FC in watch making, thus better brand recognition.

Also, IMO, Longines and Oris will be easier to sell later if you want to let go.

Good luck.

In my opinion, between the three you put out, I'd go with Oris > Longines > Frederique Constant. But to be very honest, I'd take that same amount of money and look in the pre-owned market.

Plenty of choice available with that budget.

Based on preference, I,ll go in this sequence:

Longines > Frederique Constant > Oris instead.

Always fond of Audrey Hepburn

However, I think you should definitely try them on your wrist first.

But if you are not brand conscious, and just wanted something value for money with reliable stock movement, you should definitely take a look at some of the German brand available.

E.g. Nomos, Stowa, Damasko etc. These 3 brands are very well sought for in the 2nd hand market too.

Sport watch – Oris
Sport yet elegance - Longines
Dress watch with open heart - frederique-constant

So what your choice?

I have an FC classic automatic with roman markings. So far no complain with ETA movement and daily rate is +5-7s. The rest I can't comment without owning one.

FC uses the ETA 2824 movement, very reliable and well engineered.

However, personally i would go for the Longines or the Oris, my leaning is to the Oris due to the style

I guess it boils down to whether you wants a sports watch or a dress watch.

Oris and Longines HC being a sports watch (diver) and the FC classic is a dressy piece.

I would take the LHC as it will survive well in the office in terms of looks, value for RM and brand recognition. :)

That's a common conception of leather straps, mostly the original ones. There are abundant of replacement straps out there which are water resistant- as an additional quality or the leather's characteristic. I have a few Di-modell straps which a water resistant, and they are really comfortable.

i suggest you choose base on the appearance !
which one sing to you, u wanna put on ur wrist
buy it ! u wont go wrongly for any of this

basicall they all different style
different design
at the price point, you cant be talking movement finishing... so the design more important
nvr buy a watch bcoz of other say it is nice! trust ur own eyes

In terms of brand, I would prefer Longines (stronger history, wide choices) > Frederique Constant (nkotb, nice designs) > Oris (I always think their watches are too bulky).

Good luck in your search.

Longines has a much more classy and elegant feel to it, even in the name. I'd go for the Longines.

Work hard. Work smart. Buy all 3!

OK, on a more serious note (though the above is not a bad idea actually) --- my vote goes for Longines too. Better brand amongst the 3, IMHO.
