Hi guys, I had look many model of maurice lacroix. There have one thing a am dont understand why some of the model of maurice lacroix have 35 jewel but the VPH is only 18,000. And some of the model only 25jewel but it has 28,800 VPH.
Such as MASTERPIECE SQUARE WHEEL have 34 jewel but VPH is 18,000 and PONTOS S SUPERCHARGED have only 25 jewel but the VPH have 28,800.

The number of jewels have no correlation with the vph...
Higher jewel count does not mean higher vph.

jewels and beat rates doesn't correlate.

higher beat rates tend to maintain accuracy better, but with the tech these days, doesn't mean shit anymore.
so it comes down to...buy what u like and like what u buy.

a swiss guy frm watch industry told me recently that maurice have filed for bankcruptcy. that may mean the brand may be gone soon.
