MWF 4th Anniversary GTG - Report
« on: January 05, 2013, 10:08:25 PM »
Hi guys,
I'm starting a new thread for the 4th anniversary GTG report. Feel free to post your pics and comments here.
I had a great time meeting up with new members and catching up with the regular ones.
Great company and fantastic timepieces...... it was the best anniversary GTG thus far.
Thanks to all who turned up and made this into a successful event and a big thank you to all the MODS (Peter, Scott, CK77 and Chris) who did a great job organizing and setting things up.

Nice!!! Dpkong flew in from Sarawak and some Singapore folks made their way down as well.
Unfortunately this Annual Dinner clashed with my son's birthday.
Looks really good... aaaaarrrrggghhh... really hope I can be there.
Well... maybe next year.

Thanks to the mods who organised the gathering. Your photo coverage of the watches and event is greatly appreciated.
One continues to learn so much by talking with other WIS who are as passionate about watches and horology, if not more.
Although some of the WIS' collection are boggling, the nice thing is that everyone is so humble and friendly.
With an open mind we learn to appreciate the views of everyone and pick up new tips on where and what next to buy.
Glad that I could make it to this event.
Where else can you get the chance to view such a diverse collection of quality pieces such as the ALS,PP,AP, etc and try on your wrists to see if that's next on your list

Aside to Primus,
Thanks for the Bowmore and the chance to wear a rare meteorite Daytona and a PP on my wrist…even for just a few minutes.
I'm not a Seikoristi/GS ambassador la… I love my GO and JLC as much…but I like your coining of the word Seikoristi….
Hope the P.ristis wont come gunning for you for tarnishing their name.

BTW dun cry la…  :mooning:  after wearing your Daytona and PP I'm also crying…. :HammerHead:

Big thx to the MODs & Organizers, especially Danny who has been very generous to bring his multiple expensive cameras to produce these great shots & report. He even chipped in the outstanding balance to the restaurant. Good guy.  ;D

Great GTG, it was really fascinating to meet new faces and re-connect with the usual villains who keep the poison brewing and lethal (swleong, Alvin, Meor, Andrew, Sean, the godfather and his trusted mods, Joseph, the very youthful David Tan, Rusmin, Terrence, SM, Kiamat with his Pam425.....just to name a few).....

Amazing atmosphere...
I smell the passions.....904 steel, 1000m wr without screw in crown, read in the dark without luminous by just polishing the hour marker n hands... From Japan to Swiss to German to Italy...
U hear these throughout the night... From bunch of big 'boys' from different industries and background...

Every1 sharing, eating, laughing... That's joy...
Yeap
Happy to be one of these bunch of "Syiok sendiri" kaki s of MWF

Next gtg shall be the celebration of our 1st MWF project watch!
