although not something i would usually like, but i gotta love the color on the dial.
maybe it's your camera or the lighting.

It's not the lighting. This particular model comes with what is called a sunburst blue dial. It is something not commonly seen, especially for a watch at this price point.

Man ... it looks like the SDDS is born for you.  ;)

How do you find the bracelet? Does it make wearing the watch a little weird? I mean such tiny bracelet for a huge watch ...

Regards
Tyler

Rolex Deepsea model 116660

Dimension wise it appears small but in practical terms, a nice balance. I got a 7.5" wrist that helps balance the watch. A smaller wrist could pose a problem. I'm not sure though.

I love this one a lot. Even though it's like a trendy kind of piece.

Something from 1988. Have not worn these for the longest time.

Casio shrouded diver with Ti ion coating. Got the white one first in The Mall (is it still there?) and took me the longest time to search and get the black version (21 years). They did not do well new as they were priced pretty steep back in 1988 going for USD 170. Apparently these watches are doing well in the pre-loved and auction markets. In a recent auction, the black version went for USD 570 and the white went for USD 240.

@Master Hobbit... why are the Casio watches you posted so sought after in the pre-owned market?

Not really sure why but it is a sleeper of a watch. Perhaps it is the size of the watch (44 mm) or perhaps it is that fact that it is slim (12.5mm) or perhaps that it is a cheaper alternative to the Seiko Tuna? Who knows. I like them because they look good and I like the lug less design of the case.

Nice SMP.

I dont dive, the most adventurer act i ever done was snorkerling.

Well, guess if i ever dive, i will use this rather than any fancy diving watch.

I am broke but I am happy...
