My small & humble poor man's collection
« on: June 17, 2010, 08:06:39 PM »

Hi guys,

Had a few days off work and finally got round to taking a few quick shots of my small and humble collection. I've got watches lying everywhere but I think that's all I have at home. I do keep a few at the office so no shots of those until I get back to work.

. An incomplete group shot

. My Gs. Missing a few here. Some at the office for those days when a little fun and color is needed to go with my red sneakers. I work in a interactive agency and G-shock is also one of our client. My 7yr old son is also fond of Gs and has license to wear them whenever he feels like it.

. Except for a few at the office, this is pretty much all my Seikos.

. The Orange Monster has tasted seawater the most but that will hopefully change this September. Planning to bring a few "virgins" with me to Pom Pom Island. *fingers crossed*

. Various other watches. These are either hardly worn or not even worn yet.

. Last but not least, a box with watches for remembrance that has a lot of sentimental value to me.

A Swatch that my parents gave me when I was still studying. It doesn't cost much but I know they had to work hard and think long before spending that kind of money. Eventho it doesn't cost much but believe me, it took a big chunk from their measly pay-checks.

A Guess Waterpro, the 1st ever watch that I received from a female. :-*

A Fossil Arkitekt, the 1st watch that I paid for with my own money many decades ago. A time when I didn't know what a bezel or crown was, I just knew a watch as a watch. :D

I'm still waiting on a few others that I had pulled the trigger on (hard to resist good deals), a Seiko Helmet, a Sumo (waiting on Katsu for restock), Luminox Colormark, 2 homage and a Laco and that's it for me. No more watches! I'm already poor enough.  :'(

Thanks for viewing.

Cheers!

Great Seiko collection there!

Was there any reason you concentrated on Seiko?

Yes I do. Every night before I call it a day, I will put my current watch back into the box and place the watch I'm going to wear tomorrow out on top of the box. I'm not a morning person and every morning is often a rush. :Blue:  That and also I've got a sick mind.  :Dancing_banana:

The g-shocks I normally wear for activities like futsal, jungle trekking, driving range, sumo wrestling, etc.  ;D

Cool, watch collection hobby can be very addictive and dangerous. Currently addicted to watch collecting with little money
