Seiko Gen. 1 7A28-7120 British Royal Air Force military issued watches. I have in hand a 1990 chronograph watch in excellent military issued condition.
These are 100% authentic, direct from the British Ministry of Defence, Seiko Gen 1 (1st Generation) Royal Air Force flight crew issued. These were issued in time for the first Gulf War and is likely to have been worn by Tornado GR1 Pilot's or Navigators. These were the first non-mechanical Quartz chronograph watch issued to Her Majesty’s armed forces.
Measures 37mm diameter excluding crown and 44mm lug to lug.
Brand new Swiss Renata battery professionally fitted, and full service undertaken. Fresh gaskets and crystals installed. In full working order with full military marking on the back as explained below. Comes on choice of nato.
These are in excellent condition, for a military issued watch, with a very clean crystal, and minimal evidence of previous use, such as small abrasions to the case suggesting it was well looked after by the RAF pilots to whom they were issued. The dials are in perfect condition and it is in full working order and keeping excellent Quartz time.
