Another indo china country, people remember Angkor wat, but never see ppl talk about their food.

Tarantula is consider delicacies
Center region Ppl started catching this at paddy field eating it long ago, now big fine restaurant also u can find it on the menu.

Famous Teo chew porridge here, different from KL
Instead of salted vege, they put mui Choy for braising with knuckle n others
Pig brains is popular and well cook

Very pack in the morning
Serving good seafood. pork n beef noodle, above pic is pork bone noodle and xiu mai

Yes, that's xiu mai, it's serve with French bread. All food is yummy here

Coffee shops everywhere
Fine cafe everywhere
Love this restaurant particularly
Even sausage/luncheon meat/ham/etc are made in house

My friend tried "otak monyet" in vietnam. He said it was creamy. Seems u enjoy eating that tarantula. But if i see it for real, would run off..

i when there for a sales inventive trip, is was nice but just too many mosquito.
Didn't eat bugs like you did but food was kinda ok too. thx

bro, which place you stay? i go every mth, didnt notice alot of mosquito!

snake not bugs 2
lol

anyway, phnom penh now become international city, you can find
italian, french, japanese, msian, sporean, taiwanese, chinese, korean cuisine, thai, vietnamese easily...

khmer food not bad...

Very interesting dishes you have there.. and its defo not for the faint hearted. What you doing in Phnom Penh Chris ?

And what about the gadis gadis , also as wide variety like their international food ? :P

my company hv a development project that led by me there
going monthly for monitoring

night spot and casino are the latest attraction
tonle saap river side monkey bars attracted plenty of mat salleh... local & vietnamese often flying around, cheap beer, cheap ladies beer...
KTV has been the main spot for businessmen from around the world, beside local GG, you may found vietnammese, thai, mixed and chinese.
in those residential (shop flat) area, if near those foreign invested factory area, you may even find small scale ktv can be every 5 doors   
aquariums also found in few mekong river view hotels
