Zixen trimix
« on: August 09, 2013, 09:44:23 PM »
Zixen was originally called zinex... Founded by a diver, hence making many gd diving watches!

TRIMIX has been a success! The first batch 2000m 46mm case was long sold out
The 3000pieces 1000m 44mm case second batch on current run are having not much left

Lucky for me still able to grab last 2 pieces for the design I wanted together with another Mwf member

I chosen this

The black pvd version, since I no longer hv any pvd watches on hand
Also a GMT.... (. Was earlier bit undecided on another version, steel case, Pepsi GMT bezel... Very colorful)

Design - Love this color combination, striking yellow diver min hand matching the GMT yellow hand n inner bezel 24 marking

This little Yellow on pvd case really stand out... I love it!

The GMT was added to the Swiss eta 2836 movement, instead of more pricey 2893!

After wearing it for bout 2 weeks, the accuracy is well within cosc... Seems zixen really regulate the watch b4 sending it out as claimed!

Case was solid, with well gasket, diver bezel, screw in crown n hv.... It's a real diver watch!

The short lugs design make it very wearable...
Love the diver rubber strap (u can pay another usd100 for a solid bracelet)

Only disappointment is the pvd pin buckle is little oo thin to my liking...

The most impression u get for wearing it is the

Luminous!

The c3 on bezel is so strong n lasting... Keeping it in black box for 5-6 hrs, still growing strong...

The dial markers lume grow in blue... Not as bright as c3... Lasting all night long still

Final word - at this price point, a beautiful Swiss powered gmt 1000m diver watch with hv is well worth...

Nice review and thank you for sharing.

Very nice lume indeed, love the different colors.
However, if the minute hand have pointy lume instead of square, I think it would be perfect.

Sorry, typo.

What is mean is, I would prefer the HOUR hand to have pointy lume, like the minute hand. Just my opinion.
