last week i paid a guy for a mih watch....
then the guy delay in shipping... seldom reply and keep on complaining fedex charge too much... suggests alternative... usps priority!
i disagreed and insisted on fedex... he asked for extra usd20, i told him i can pay extra after i receive the watch and found no problem!

the guy still not ship the watch monday but replied and promised tuesday morning...
but no fedex tracking receive... and never reply my mail...

found he accepted another guy usps postal order for the same watch on the same watch forum last week... also never deliver...
GOD... u know my feeling... so i immediately open dispute at paypal.... if he never reply in 1 or 2 days then i'll claim for it...
lucky i pay through paypal....

i think i can recover my money but it takes time...

Hi Dave, if you do a search online for "MIH watch" you should find some detail

it's a watch uses 7750, single pusher chrono but you can't see small subdial. The minutes counter is located on the caseback...

furthermore, it has month, day and date A very simple looking watch but a lot hidden feature around.

Looks like a cool watch... but i bet it will cost a fortune... Sad to hear this but that is sometimes why i rather go to SHOPs and pay more.. rather than buying online... although i am an IT guy.. aehhheah

The MIH watch is sorta a TZ forum darling.
Quite a noble project i might add since part of the earnings is used to restore another clock i believe?

It might look simple but technically very complicated.

Wow Chris didnt know you actually went and buy the watch, didnt know anyone selling also.

not sure if it's the same guy...i was talking to a forum mate from US and he faced the exact problem for MIH watch. After 1 week of excuses from seller, he threatened to take the case to federal law and the seller returned him the $.

MIH watch is not known to a lot of pple because it's understated. A very beautiful watch (one of my mates in Singapore owns it) and the complications very well made!

dispute case closed and paypal processing refund now!

yes. i did book one at embassy... but then last yr when came to my turn i was about to change job... so gave up!

now swiss currency increased alot... so price went up rm2k plus!

mih is a project watch. it never advertise... a project to repair a museum clock... but it was written and recommended by revolution magazine.... alot of singaporean having it...
i knew malaysian owns it... a malaysian in rolex forum has it....

internet business is risky.... but paypal is safe.... but i cant sleep well last night still... hope i can hv my money back tomorrow!

then move on for a new watch....
i actually just bought a watch...................... no need to wait for tomorrow....

The last time i used paypal 6yrs plus ago i had a problem with refund and never got my money back although i did not receive my goods that i bought from Ebay.

Maybe the service has improved now.

Hope to one day see the MIH watch in person.

maybe try your luck again to get another deal from other seller.

thanks all.... the seller either get scared due to the other buyer made report to the authority set up by us government or just mess up whole thing...
likely the former.... so he made the refund to paypal instead of waiting for paypal to investigate later.... so the dispute file close faster....

paypal is much efficient now... my fren got his money for his purchase in few days time also....
but if seller did sent the thing.... missing during transit or so... u still cant claim.... unless seller buy shipping insurance!

i aim for a deep sea... but not enough $$$.... so fren approached me with a mint condition seiko prospex MM 300m .... so i bought it last night!
