I was never loving the logo but the more i look at it..the more i like it..the simplicity and the clean look...very close to the vintage model...

me too...but i doubt they will put a logo on a sandwich dial...historical point of view...but then again, nothing is impossible :D

I just realize pam0 (pam5 too) wasn't that easy to come by...and was selling at "goreng" (premium) price before...pam0 is the cheapest (retail price i mean) so far in the panerai series if i'm not mistaken...

yes... pam00000 is cheapest... but alot of ppl prefer pam005... so pam005 always selling higher than retail price at 1 time....
and pam0 always get no discount....

LOL! You can't get the best of both world  ;D

at first i have thought of getting pam5 but i need a "9" and cleaner look... the logo is a plus to make it look even more authentic to the vintage... only thing is, have no clear case back...but i can live with it

the small second cost u lots more.... and i personally prefer a cleaner dial... but again some1 will say no second hand dunno whether watch moving!

no see through caseback is ok for military design watch.... and because of no see through so this piece panerai save the swan neck.....

yes. nothing perfect.... even ourselve.... small wrist wanna wear big watch also....

Chris is right...

the PAM0 and PAM5 uses pre-vendome movement and the cost is lower i think...

see the post below, it's a reply directly from A.Bonati (Panerai's CEO).

Buying at list price should be considered a very good buy IMO for that particular model
Normally both logo pam 0 & 05 sell above list  :HammerHead:

Hey Scott,
I know this comes a little late, but congrats on another great acquisition. Make sure you bring this piece to the next GTG.
