Just for the fun of it ... I want to see what is your vote and hear what you have to say.   ;D

Strange enough, on the top of my list now is the toy watch from AS!   :Dancing_banana:

You have very good choices there.
I myself cant decide between the AS and the VC Overseas.
I have liked the AS design for more than 10yrs and if you fancy it i say get it.
You're paying more for design than movt.

For the VC, its a classic what can i say and like the AS i liked it since many yrs ago.
Cant go wrong with the design and in house movt.

But i think the VC is priced higher?

I would rather buy a cartier XL over a pam.
No offence to pam lovers.

I am almost a recovered watchaholic, but last checked shows only 70% recovered. How?

I think maybe you should try to complete the "holy trinity" since you've got an AP (if it's one of your objectives). You can buy AS anytime (it's on 50-60% disc) at Hour Glass Sale so don't need to rush to get it. Oh, VC's resale takes a beating once you leave the shop with it.

Cheers

Takashi, yeah AS is more of design and most are based on ETA movements.  But I like the "attitude" of the watch.  Price wise, all of them will be less than RM30k after discount with VC probably the most expensive and Cartier Santos the cheapest.  Note that the VC is not the chronograph version.  The chrono version list price is RM64k   :(

Why not PP? Like PP Nautilus (correct spelling or not?)?

If I were complete the "holy trinity" then I would get the PP Nautilus, VC Oversea Chrono or Automatic and AP RO.  All these are Gerald Genta designs as well.  While at it, you can also throw in the IWC Ingenieur which is also designed by Mr. Genta.  Then you have "holy trinity" and "genta classics" with only 4 watches!

But being an unfocused person that I am, I will stray from this path and get some other weird stuff.  Moreover, favorite watch is probably a A. Lange & Sohne.  Compared to Lange, PP design is too formal and staid.
