Which Tudor to get?
« on: January 12, 2018, 03:49:30 PM »
Last 2 week, I drop a full deposit to book a unit of Tudor Black Bay Bronze... unit estimated to reach around last week of January...

I’m in dilemma now.. I like the bronze on Tudor Black Bay Bronze.. but I like the symmetry look of Tudor Black Bay Black... and I like the date on Tudor Black Bay SG....

According to the AD, I can change my mind anytime if I would give up the Black Bay bronze...

So what do you guys think??

Suggest you get the black bay black. It's the right size at 41mm and has that vintage charm with the red triangular marker on the bezel.

Tudor Black Bay black is better.. Looks good on all straps from black, brown leather, or any nato straps.. Cant go wrong with a black dial watch

I'm a Tudor fan having had its BB and Pelagos. If this is not your only watch, then the bronze would actually be a fun conversation piece. But if it was the only daily beater, then yes, the s/steel may be a better all-rounder choice.

The Bronze being 43mm, don’t you think it is going to look big on your wrist?

Initially plan was to go to the AD and ask to convert the watch to black bay black... now they twist the story say if the black bay bronze can’t reach on time, only I can choose to change the watch.. sad.... maybe its fate for me to go with black bay bronze..

I’m quite used to big watch... so the first time I see the 41mm black bay black, I feel like kinda small... but I think it should fit better on my wrist...

Yes this Ball looks very large on your wrist. Look at the lugs! What is the size of this watch?

That's the 43mm Fireman, right? It would appear that the lugs were protruding beyond your wrist, and the Fireman was already a fairly thin watch IIRC (I had the Fireman Night Train DLC). So with the 43mm BB Bronze being generally thicker and with longer lugs, it may feel bigger on your wrist.

ok, here is the catch, since the bronze is more expensive than the bbb, so usually they dont allow you to change
if that is another way around, then they will probably allow you to change the watch

Who told you that only paying in full will secure you a piece? Those are no ceramic Daytona and can be found easily all around KL.

Black bay bronze is indeed a beauty as it develops patina overtime. Wear it in good health, do post some picture when it's arrived!
