sinn 142 D1 st
« on: November 28, 2009, 05:23:11 PM »
just to share something came across my hand...

i think it look good on leather...
couldn't find a 22mm black leather strap with white thread...
so put it on a black leather strap....

whole watch

front
the black dial, rotatable inner bezel with 60min marker, 24 hour indicator at 12, chronograph with 30 min center counter, 12 counter at 6, small second at 9, day in german n date at 3, center hour n min hands...

side... the signed crown, chronograph pushers

another side showing the rotatable inner bezel control crown

the bracelet.... buckle signed... but wasnt sure is ori... but good quality....
and the bezel is extent-able by just pulling, it will slide out and when u let it it will bounce back... i shot with my iphone....  will post this next time...
just to share a point that seiko mm not the first bracelet with slide out extent-able bracelet.... rolex deepsea not the second !

finally a wrist shot.... the macro lens is 105mm.... so cant get a right angle to shoot this...

Most bracelet owners will buy that for their 142s. I not sure if 142 comes in leather strap at that time.

great price you've got there....great wrist presence and heft to it.

if i wanna get my first chrono..that would be the one. but sad to say the new 142 does not have the day-date indicator.

yours is German is de best   true to it's german heritage

Thanks for the clarification. So, does the earlier 142 model come with bracelet only?

@terence
Or you can get EZM1, the clarify of this dial is fantastic though it can only measure 1 hr.

I find the 142 St II bit cluttered. 4 dials a bit too much for my taste. I heard the new 142 II is hard to service coz it uses a modular chronograph instead of builtin. Is tat statement correct?

sinn 142 II is not a 142 !
because its not using the the Lemania 5100 movement !

movement with DD chronograph module added on a eta2892-a2 is definitely more difficult to service...
due to the design itself, just imagine to make this movement a chronograph.... u need to add so many weird parts here
n there... the parts will bent here bent there to link here click there....
compare to a well design crhonograph movement!

and the sinn 142 ii selling well?
the sinn ezm 1 reproduction claiming fitted with last batch of lemani 5100....
the sinn ezm 4.... all sold out  right?
the market actually answer you....
