The oldest Seiko diver I had so far.... Seiko 6105-8110
« on: June 30, 2010, 06:42:29 PM »
This will be my 1st picture posting... err 2nd actually... hehe...

This is an October 1976 production & probably the last edition before replaced by the 6309-7040 model. 6105 is the 2nd edition of Seiko dive watch in their diver series.

The previous owner did an excellence job refurbishing the watch to this level.

Seiko 'Sumo' vs 6105-8110 vs 6309-7040 (Turtle)

This piece is a must have for the Seiko diver fan. I made a review about it in my blog.... you can read it here

The 6105 is a real beauty, and it's preserved in such good condition.

Thanks gapper. I love to share info with peoples. Maybe some info might be helpful to somebody in need. Don't have time yet to study about movement servicing. Try to gain info from the books on & off... also need a watch to be 'sacrifice' for the job. Hehehe... ;D

Is it a 'Rolex' movement? I have one to sacrice, but a winding movement. Very old movement & very simple. But fell 'sayang' to sacrifice it. Haha...

I've got 4 replicas before. But sold all of them. Don't have one to sacrifice anymore. Only got one old watch for sacrifice. Hehehe... ;D

Old Seiko diver is great. I love them  :-* ...
