I remember reading in the local papers that the government want to see the broadband internet rate to come down. So you should see the Internet plan rate to come down. So wait first.

Actually doesn't need to buy too much quota.
Nowadays, even mamak stall also provide free Wifi.
You can go to those place where provide free Wifi to finish your work or download your movie as I always did.
Hehe..

Recently I'm using the 3GB monthly data plan and the price is just RM40...
It is really worth and cheap because it is just RM40 per month ...
But sometimes the coverage is quite bad in fact ...
I think you should survey from different telco official website or shop before you purchase

it's very much depends on which area you at. you need to try first to know.

just fyi, umobile has some good data plan with decent quality which you can try.

since prepaid is not bound by contract, you can try telco by telco and choose the one works best for you or rather works not the worst for u.... hehe

3G and LTE provides a seamless connection on the move. As for wifi the coverage is limited and usually slow and need to key in password and login etc and this is troublesome.

There's no time indication when the broadband rate will come down. If you need to use now then just go ahead and sign up a plan now but don't sign any contract for 12 months or 24months.

very much depends on location la.... if you go rural areas, celcom definitely the best you can get.

even in klang valley, it's still depend on the exact location where you at. but in klang valley, most telco can provide a respectable coverage, issue maybe with congestion at certain time of the day.

if cost is concerned, go with the cheapest one first, if really not good, then choose the more expensive one like celcom or maxis.

just my 2 cts.
