German Timepiece Anyone?
« on: August 08, 2012, 11:55:43 AM »
Finally took some pictures of my one and only German watch in precious metal. The only gold watch in my collection.
The A. Lange & Sohne Richard Lange is a tribute watch to Ferdinand Lange's eldest son Richard Lange

I love the simplicity and elegance of the silver dial with a contrasting blue sweeping seconds hand

Lange calibre L041.2 movement through the sapphire-crystal back.

The only ONE that deserves to sit in a Buben & Zorwegg watch case

Thanks for looking

What made you go for this model instead of the iconic Lange1?

What made you go for this model instead of the iconic Lange1?

The case size of 40.5mm was the deciding factor here for my big wrist
The Lange1 is just 39mm and looks flimsy on my huge wrist
Though the new Grande Lange1 looks enticing but I think I'll have a hard time reading the time on this due to the smaller time subdial

Out of curiosity and just went online and check out the GERMAN spelling of "A Lange & Sohne"

Its so difficult to pronounce!

something like "Ar Lang Ee Unt Soon Ner"

Interesting !
