Pagani Design Daytona Homage Review
« on: January 16, 2021, 07:08:51 AM »
Just complete my review of the Pagani Design Daytona.
I know that the watch community is split on homage watches and it's controversial.
Here's my thoughts.

Interesting review. How well does the ceramic bezel deal with daily knocks and bumps? One element of the watch which ruins it for me is the inclusion of the date. It spoils the symmetry of the dial.

Not into watching Youtube videos...

From just the picture, agree with G.MAC on the date window. Should just have left it out.

Yep, I did mention about the date window in my review. It's definitely controversial but I prefer to have it and it actually didn't bother me at all even right from the start. I like the date complication especially on a quartz since you don't have to adjust it at all.
On the bezel, about 1 month + of use, I've knocked it several times (accidently) on doors, edges etc and I still don't see a mark.

I've always believed that despite the hate that PD garner (for obvious reasons), they give the best bang for the buck, for what it's worth. Though personally, I wouldn't own one. I've got 2 Sugess and maybe in the distant future wanted the Captain Willard's from Steeldive. Been reading lots of rave review about them.
