I'd say this new release from Tudor are for those who'd think the OG BBB are a little bit too big at 43mm vs 39mm.

Im sure it will given the existing Tudor bronze units we see out there that have “patina-ed”

yeah.. reminded me of my Tudor Black Bay Bronze 7950BM watch. It quickly went from pretty to "ugh.." in less than a month. lol

That was my fear as I was once tempted to get a bronze watch...I guess it is a personal preference

You can always restore your patina bronze watch back to its pristine "showroom" condition so no worried. ;D

People who get a bronze watch wants the watch to patina and different watch with different individuals wearing it will develop different form of patina effect, that’s what makes a bronze watch unique.. it will be rather weird to want to restore it often, perhaps one bought the watch without knowing much

I don't understand why Tudor wants to make watches with metals that will definitely tarnish. Bronze and silver will oxidise over time. Only a very specific breed of enthusiasts will want their watch to look that way. Furthermore they are tool watches and expected to be worn daily. Unless the owners maintain the watches to keep it pristine.
Rolex on the other hand has gone the other route to ensure that their precious metals will not tarnish.
Maybe at the end of the day I just don't understand the industry.

Tudor is no longer the same Tudor who lives under the shadow of Rolex. They has taken their own route and it has so far been a succesful one.

Aren’t this boutique edition only available to Tudor Boutique? Outside AD mana boleh dapat?

I think Tudor is over doing the "pre-loved" look. Nothing beats the patina a steel watch gets when its worn day in day out for a lifetime.

It is a good move from Tudor with so many metal and colour options available.
Those who are rich (money is no object) can opt for a Black Bay 58 in 18k gold, those who fancy silver there are 925 Sterling Silver Black Bay 58, for those who like bronze and dare or curious how bronze will transform/patina with age can grab the OG BBB or BB58B.
As for me, I do fancy the Black Bay 58 gold BUT unfortunately I'm not that rich to fork out USD16.8k!!! So, I'll just stick to SS watches. :Laughing_on_floor:

ROLEX gold does "tarnish".. I have yellow gold that develop some darker red areas.. and I've seen white gold bracelets looking dark grey too...

All the Tudor boutique are AD managed.. perhaps this can only be made available for ADs that runs a standalone Tudor Boutique.. so far I know HG and SWG has this only in Malaysia
