Hi newbie here. I'm looking to buy my first expensive watch, saw a nice watch and wanted to buy from a fellow member here. Any way to verify if the seller is legit or trusted?
Any way to know if the watch is not fake?
Any tips would be greatly appreciated as well.
Thank you :) :)

Face to face deal.
Bring the watch to any trusted shop for authentication.
Do not transfer any deposit until you see the actual watch.

never transfer any deposit, just trade face to face, and use bank transfer, no cash~
serial number of the watch usually tell the truth, fake usually dont hv correct serial number
if you dont have exp, better buy a new one at AD

Well, have you checked the Recommendation (good guys) sub-forum?

Some prior research on the watch you intend to buy i.e. what to look out for, how to spot fake ones etc would help as well

Must face to face to check on the authenticity

- Face to Face if possible (having said that i've sold and bought from international folk before)
- Never bring cash. Real sellers should readily accept bank transfer.
- Always check the sellers history in the forum
- Rest is luck

I normally buy and sell from and with established members in this forum. So far, I have had good experiences. To the OP, did you follow through with your purchase?

Word of advice : Check and find out the seller on any good reviews of him. Is he reputable? And also sellers here do have 1 or more watches for sale which means he is a seasoned seller as well. That's my POV.
