I love the freccione hands...
Personal taste and preferences evolve over years, hopefully not 1 full circle otherwise it means we haven't learnt a single thing.

Never like explorer ii after the Steve McQueen model
Till this new one...

The improvement on case n bracelet for the past few yrs r impressive, not jus on this explorer ii!

The big dial n fat hands really attracted me... U can read the time from 10 feet!
Orange home time hand is the diamond on the crown!

Easier to read the GMT hand in the latest design, compared to the old design or on the latest GMT IIc.. the blueish lume and the matte black dial are something to admire as well. Now, if only the bracelet have the Sub's glidelock, it would really be an awesome watch!

That's the SOP, but I have set the orange hand to UK time... wife has a habit of asking "what's the time in UK? Can skype the daughter (studying in the UK) now??" Explorer II or the GMT II c has that versatility!  ;D

Hahaha.. that's absolutely right! My cheapo Samsung tells the time in all time zones with a few clicks, AND also the weather and temperature at those places. But then again, the Samsung is not a mechanical watch..

I somehow prefer the older model Explorer white dial. I have one and it is an all occassion watch. Goes well with any dress. But just wish it was a little bigger  ;D
