Wyler Geneve goes into "hibernation mode"?
« on: July 23, 2009, 07:09:39 AM »
Just saw the news on the internet.
Was really impressed by their line of watches. As i recall their brand was just brought back to life not too many years ago and now this happens.

Dunno if the AD's in KL will liquidate their inventory?
Even so, is it worth buying knowing there is no one back in the factory to service or for any warranty issues?

Scott,
Not sure if its ok to post links to website news, if not you can take it off.

yeap... regarding laco..... wus is launching a new forum... hoping this will help to rescue the legendary brand...
since then alot ppl order laco watches.... its limited for wus le dial a registration also been snap up...

wyler position their watch on the high side.... thats why it not selling.... every1 trying to emulate the success of panerai and hublot....

so it is not easy to help them after all....

recently the robert lighton also closing their door.... alot of ppl buy their popular model.... i was once consider to get the growler... but the webside close a day earlier.... and they only sell to US market....

pls support laco.... the owner is very nice person to deal with.... i really respect the way he handle the wus le watch
1. when we complaint the caseback laser print is not good, he take back all to re engrave at no charge....
2. he kept his promise, never take the wus le dial design in his own production

I agree on the pricing point of Wyler as well.
After they relaunch their brand they just price is RM10k too high.
Just like Montblanc with their Minerva movement line.
When i first saw the limited series i was shocked when they told me the price. Even more expensive than my condo haha....

Laco looks interesting.
Their pilot line looks good.

Laco looks interesting.
Their pilot line looks good.

laco is the original manufacturer of famous b urh.... together with lange, iwc, stowa n wempe....
u can expect a german quality from laco
look blacken bit st steel....
swiss movement (laco do hv some miyolta  and quartz movement series to make the watch affordable )

if u like... go wus... email peter ... he is doing a limited 44 nos of pilot chrono....
interesting design...
chrono sub dial in grey color... so from far u see a normal b urh watch... but from close range, it is a 7750 power chrono....

with 7750, it only cost u euro 580...
