Interesting news and a bold move.
For us mechanical watch lovers i think we often overlook Citizen.

Interesting to see how the Swiss will react.

Remember the Citizen advertising promotion in the 70's where they placed some of the watches in plastic bubbles and floated them out to sea.
They used to advertise in Her World magazine and in cinemas..
Whoever was lucky would find them washed up on the beach... that was in Penang...

I had a Citizen during lower secondary school days...
Black dialed, rubber strap....however not very accurate though... something like +30 secs a day
cost less than RM 100 in 70s..

Interesting news and a bold move.
For us mechanical watch lovers i think we often overlook Citizen.

Interesting to see how the Swiss will react.
Personal taste and preferences evolve over years, hopefully not 1 full circle otherwise it means we haven't learnt a single thing.
